There are only 3 Conditions provided by the RTU guidelines for College Transfer given below:
1. Health:- One is given in the Application form i.e. “If he/she has fallen ill after joining the source institute”. The location of his source institution is not medically suitable to his/her and a change of place is suggested by a competent medical board constituted at the nearest medical college of the source institute. In other words Candidate have an appropriate Medical Certificate issued either from Medical Board of Govt. Hospital or Medical College. For ex. If you are residing at Jaipur, Rajasthan. Candidate can get such certification from the Sawai Maan Singh Hospital, Jaipur. Or if you are residing at Kota, Rajasthan. This nearest Hospital will be Kota Medical College. In this process candidate will apply for the Medical Check Up. After this a Certified Team of Doctors also called the Medical Board will examine the candidate that either He/she is Medically Fit or Not. After that they would give you the Medical Certificate if and only if you are not medically fit according to the guidelines given by the RTU to the Medical Board. If they fails you in the above checkup or declares that you are a medically fit person then you are no more eligible for the College Transfer Process.
2. Death of Parent(s)/guardian:- “In the eventuality of death(s) of both
parent(s)/guardian(s). or the parents(s) is/are suffering from diseases like
Cancer and AIDS the candidate may seek
transfer to an institute near his/her permanent residence. In the event of such
illness a certificate by a medical board. In other word the candidate will ask
the Medical Board to issue such certificate in the above condition.
3. Harassment of the Candidate (only female):- In the event of harassment of female
student, the source institute should take
measures against the harassment, under intimation to the office of the Registrar, RTU and recommended college transfer, if
needed.
For this
purpose, a Women Cell should investigate the case thoroughly and handover a
confident report of the case to the head of the institution.
If a candidate satisfies any of the given 3 conditions above then he is totally eligible for the further transfer process.
If not then Don’t Worry I have one more condition that is not mentioned on any of the RTU Website or Portal. I.e. Poor Admission.
Poor Admission: - The student may seek transfer to other institute. If number of students in his/her branch is not maintaining a healthy score. In other words the number of students presently studying in the particular branch are less than 5-8 than the student is eligible for the Transfer process. In such case “Student has to write an Application to the Director of source College to get the signature of the Director of the Source institution on the NOC (Non Objection Certificate) column mentioned on the application format”. Without a valid signature on NOC candidate is not eligible for the transfer process.
Now, if u are eligible either of the conditions mentioned above then you can go through the final Stage of the Transfer Process cum Filling up the form.
- Write your Name, Mobile No., Father's/Guardian's Name, Address of correspondence and Branch.
- Write the name of the process through which you get admitted such as RPET/C-MAT/RMCAAT-Management Quota/Direct Admission.
- Enter the Rank obtained if you have applied in RPET/C-MAT/RMCAAT otherwise leave it blank.
- Write the Details of Demand Draft (D.D. Rs1500/-) deposited (as transfer fee in favor of Registrar, RTU, Kota.)
- Tick one of the given three reasons of seeking transfer mentioned above this blog as Health, Death of Parent(s)/Guardian or Harassment of Female. Leave it blank is you are applying for transfer as a case of POOR ADMISSION.
The eligibility criteria for destination institute is as under:
- It should not be located in the same town where the source institute is located.
- It should have one clear vacant seat (seats lying vacant due to failure of students in I B.Tech will not be treated as vacant seats) available in the concerned branch after the change of branch and lateral admission (for diploma/B. Sc. Students and tuition fee exempted cases) process is completed to accommodate the candidate. Under no circumstance the approved strength, as per AICTE norms, should be exceeded.
- The lowest RPET merit of that branch of the destination institution should be less than the RPET merit of the candidate.
Now fulfill all 3 Recommendations provided by the RTU:
- Recommendation of the source institution that the institute has no objection to the transfer of the candidate from this institute. The college will not fill the vacancy against his/her seat till 30th September of this year. (With Signature of the Head of Institute with Seal).
- Recommendation of the Destination Institution that they have personally checked that one seat is vacant in the concerned branch in this institution and the last admission offered in the concerned branch in the concerned year was at RPET rank……………..which is lower than the RPET rank of the candidate. Hence, the institution has no objection to the transfer of the candidate to their institute. (With Signature of the Head of Institute with Seal).
- Recommendation of the Medical Board which is explained on the application format of college transfer which you can download from the link provided below:-
After following all the steps successfully mentioned in this blog. you will get your transfer order as follow:-
